Awareness/Ownership and Peer Supervision Coordinator
Dr. SHARON K. DAVIS
Sister Davis has expressed a desire to prayerfully seek God's direction to develop this Ministry, serving Him faithfully to be that light of hope. Sister Davis has a Doctorate of Social Work. She brings to this ministry more than 30 years of supervisory and clinical experience in the helping profession. As the lead on a major statewide initiative, she has developed engagement and collaboration skills in response to the systemic issues to meet the unique needs of the target population. Sister Davis has a sensitivity and understanding of the needs of others which positions her to create a space where potential Stephen Ministers will be empowered to identify and use their talents and gifts, while building upon their strengths to impact the lives of others effectively drawing them nearer to Christ. Her approach is from the perspective of our Christian responsibility to minister to the churched as well as the unchurched, with a Call to Action that will engage all ministries, members, and boards of Union Baptist Church to respond. |
